The story of CHOSEN focuses on a town trapped in a time loop. We follow the player through the day as they play the role of a middle school child that wields the power of telekinesis. Their goal is to use their abilities for good or worse to change outcomes of different scenarios throughout the day all in order to figure out what's happening in this town. The player has the choice to listen or disobey commands given by parents, teachers and other authority figures through their actions. Going to sleep at night or dying resets the loop back to the morning.

Here, I'm testing the Force Shield mechanic I designed. Similar to how Neo stops bullets in the Matrix, The player will be able to catch enemy bullets while using this ability. I designed this mechanic from the ground up including the code, the animations, the sound FX, and implementation!

Here I am designing the knock-off version art of one of my favorite N64 titles. It's going to be a background object in CHOSEN! See it on the cartridge I modeled at the end!

This is an older video, but it showcases some of the Telekinesis interactions we are currently working on within the project! These include a gravity well, pulling individual objects to yourself, throwing objects using TK, and flight etc. We also show some of the destruction mechanics with things shattering/breaking apart where they are hit!

A theme I wrote aiming to incorporate the essence of both digital and analogue clocks, into something that actually matches our game's day/night cycle. It transitions to a secondary track with an alarm clock at the end, which then ties it into the actual alarm clock noise at 7AM.
