Scraps is a project owned by Full Sail university. I was given the project files that had already established what the game was about, the player character, the player abilities, and a tutorial level. I got to design an entire level from the ground up, complete unique level mechanics, puzzles, gameplay setups, and goals. I then had to work with a team to join our multiple levels together into one longer playable section!

This is a narrated run-through and explanation of my completed level. I created everything shown, and all interactions apart from the main character. My level was based on a recently abandoned car factory. The player navigates through by using conveyor belts and boxes as platforms, and also by powering on different aspects of the facility using car batteries!
In this video I made two small areas to test out the functionality and potential puzzle setups of the two level mechanics I designed for the game. The first one being the conveyor belts, and the second one being the battery-powered machines or devices.
This is an image of the layout I designed for my level. It includes a basic overhead view of the level, along with a legend. It has icons for everything the player is expected to do throughout the level, reference images for artistic direction, and notes from me with more information about how to complete the level.
